SMS & Call Log Permissions
Important Notice: Google has changed its policy regarding SMS and Call Log permissions, which affected PrinterShare's ability to print SMS messages and call logs from the Play Store version.
The Solution: We have developed a workaround that complies with Google's requirements while preserving your privacy. You can download PrinterShare directly from our website to access SMS and Call Log printing features immediately after installation.
How to get SMS & Call Log printing:
- Download PrinterShare APK directly from our Install page - Direct APK Installation
- Install the APK on your Android device
- SMS and Call Log printing features will be available immediately
- Your existing Premium Mode subscription remains valid
Why this change? PrinterShare does not send messages or make calls - it only reads them for printing purposes. However, Google's new policy required us to remove these permissions from the Play Store version, eliminating this printing capability.
Privacy Assurance: This workaround does not violate Google's policy nor does it affect your privacy in any way. PrinterShare only accesses SMS and call logs when you explicitly choose to print them.
We continue to work with Google and hope they will adopt more flexible policies that will allow us to restore these features in future Play Store versions.
